For ranchers and feedlot operators
The value of your cattle deserves to be recognized.
Better information. More opportunities. A relationship built from the ranch up.
Origen Angus is preparing a model that connects quality cattle, documented information, premium markets and new sources of capital.
Pilot program in development. Participation is subject to evaluation, capital availability and definitive agreements.
How it works
A relationship connecting the ranch to the market.
01
We select
We evaluate the cattle, the operation and its fit with the program.
02
We finance
We may structure capital for an eligible production cycle, subject to evaluation and availability.
03
We document
We record relevant information about origin, management and lot performance.
04
We buy
Origen Angus may purchase finished cattle under terms agreed in advance.
05
We bring it to market
We connect the product with a premium proposition supported by evidence.
The model adapts to your operation.
- Recognition of origin and genetics.
- Greater visibility for the ranch and its practices.
- Potential connections with feedlot operators and premium markets.
- Organized information that can strengthen future relationships.
Do both? Select “Both” in the form.
Initial pilot fit
We are looking for operations willing to build evidence from the first cycle.
- A cattle operation initially located in northern Mexico.
- Black Angus or other quality cattle compatible with criteria to be defined for the pilot.
- Willingness to identify the lot and share agreed operating information.
- Ability to record weights, feeding, available health events and responsible parties.
- Openness to a documented commercial relationship and the definitive terms of the pilot.
These indicators are preliminary. Meeting them does not guarantee selection, financing, purchase or specific commercial terms.
Three capabilities designed to help capture more value.
Capital to move forward
Potential access to capital for eligible cycles, subject to evaluation and availability.
Information to demonstrate
Organized data on origin, management and performance to build useful evidence.
Market access to capture value
A commercial relationship designed to connect quality cattle with a premium proposition.
From the ranch
The model starts with first-hand experience.
Origen Angus was born at Rancho La Gavilana in Nonoava, Chihuahua—a ranching operation with a history dating back to 1923 and a simple conviction: cattle become more valuable when their origin, management and story can be known.

Capital for the cattle cycle
Financing designed around the operation.
We are preparing a model under which Origen Angus may finance eligible cattle and inputs for a finishing cycle. The feedlot operator would retain ownership and operational responsibility during the cycle. At the agreed point, Origen Angus may purchase the finished cattle and settle the transaction according to the definitive agreement.
Point A · Start of the cycle
- Evaluation of the operation and lot.
- Definition of eligible cattle and inputs.
- Agreement, identification and monitoring plan.
- Funding subject to approval and availability.
During the cycle
- The feedlot operator retains ownership and operational responsibility.
- Agreed management and performance information is documented.
- Monitoring does not replace sanitary, legal or operating obligations.
Point B · Settlement
- Origen Angus may purchase the finished cattle under agreed terms.
- Settlement may deduct principal, interest, fees and recoverable expenses in accordance with the definitive agreement.
- Ownership transfers at Point B if the agreed conditions are met.
This model is under evaluation. It does not constitute an offer of credit, automatic approval, a promise to purchase, a guaranteed price or financial advice. Any transaction will be subject to analysis, capital availability, documentation and definitive agreements.

Frequently asked questions
What we can answer today.
Is the program currently available?
Not yet. It is being prepared as a pilot, and participation will depend on evaluation, capital availability and a definitive agreement.
Who can participate?
Ranchers and feedlot operators with a formal operation in Mexico whose cattle and management can be documented. Each case is evaluated individually.
Does registration guarantee financing?
No. Registration only expresses interest; it does not imply approval, an offer or any obligation for either party.
Will Origen Angus purchase all financed cattle?
Not necessarily. Origen Angus may purchase finished cattle only under the conditions agreed in the corresponding definitive agreement.
What information would I need to share?
Operational information about the lot: origin, identification, management, feeding, weights and dates. The scope is defined case by case.
What would financing cost?
Economic terms would be defined individually and set out in the definitive agreement. We do not publish general terms while the model is under evaluation.
Can I participate only as a rancher?
Yes. The program contemplates participation only as a rancher, only as a feedlot operator, or in both roles.
The future of premium cattle begins with better relationships and better information.
